POLLUTION IN DELHI - SENTIMENT WILL NOT WORK

In connection with the discussions by worried panelists on NDTV24X7 on extremely terrifying levels of pollution in Delhi, My firm belief is that this problem cannot be solved by politicians but can only be solved by brilliant Indian or foreign scientists such as the faculty of I.I.Sc., IITs, Delhi University, MIT, Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, etc., Fellows of the Royal Society, Nobel Prize-winning scientists, etc.

Sentimental appeals to emotion will not solve the problem.

I think the solution to the pollution crisis will hinge on the electrostatic precipitation of smoke particles in the air, which is the principle used in chimneys coated with appropriate substances, as far as I know.
