Being tired of the obsession of male and female humans with unethical illicit sex and with opportunistic romantic "love", it was a relief for Me to watch a short sensational video about Columbia University scientists storing VAST amounts of data (including a short scene from an old French movie showing a moving train and bustling men and hat-wearing women on the railway station platform) in the tiny biological molecule DNA, and an interesting scientific talk on YouTube for about 12 minutes by Ms. Aishy Murali, a girl student of class XII, entitled "Digital Data Storage in DNA"; the talk is accompanied by the English text, which is very helpful. (I noticed just a few errors in spelling in the text, e.g. "Jesus" appears in the text by mistake. I am not sure if "Aishy Murali" is the REAL name of the female speaker on this YouTube video nor if she is REALLY a girl student of class XII - her voice is heard but her face and figure are not shown in the video. I have heard that Facebook and other social media are full of accounts carrying fake male names and fake female names; I have never understood the reason for this very strange practice.)

SENTIMENTAL LOVE

Much sentimentality often attaches itself to love, precisely because the experience is so real and so important that many of us have difficulty in coping with it. A very common form of sentimentality is the line of behaviour that may be summed up as 'If you won't do this for me, you don't love me,' or even, 'If you don't think just as I do, you don't love me.' Now, it is true that anything I am prepared to call love includes a serious concern for the welfare and happiness of the other person; but someone who claims that love should mean a total surrender of the 'loved' person's will has a very immature and very unrealistic idea of love. Love is a partnership, not a swallowing. Jealousy is an emotion that I suppose we cannot always help, though I think it is one to be restrained as far as possible; but the assertion that jealousy is a proof of love has always seemed to me to be a very sentimental assertion, based on the sentimental premise that true love is possessive, monopolistic. In particular, we find almost unrelieved sentimentality in the not uncommon assertion that unprovoked jealousy is a proof of love. The man who finds his wife on the sofa kissing another man has a problem to face; he is jealous reasonably and must deal with his jealousy and his wife's behaviour as his own set of values and morals dictate; but the man who makes a scene because his wife has an ordinary letter from another man or is polite to another man at a party is not showing his love; he is showing childish possessiveness and insulting mistrust. Many of us, behaving like this (and most of us do fall into unreasonable and childish jealousy on occasion, if not in love then in some other sphere of life), then make beautiful excuses to ourselves: 'I shouldn't make scenes if it weren't that I am so much in love with you ...' (Liar!) or 'I am not jealous, but I don't like her getting so much attention....' (Liar!) This is sentimentality.

CONFUSION: CAREFUL !

MY CONSORT IN DELHI

My consort (dressed like a Punjabi woman) along with My sister left Guwahati (our hometown) in the morning yesterday by train (Rajdhani Express) and reached New Delhi this afternoon. My consort who LOOKS like a simpleton (though she may NOT be the simpleton she appears to be) is blissfully unaware that the unethical female world is mad about Me and therefore will want to catch a glimpse of her if possible during her travels in New Delhi and Punjab for the next ten days or so coz I am sure that the unethical female world feels puzzled and wonders in amazement how such a simple and not highly educated woman like her (Oops!) could "capture" A Genius like Me!

THE ANSWER: She married Me DESPITE the fact that I was An Unemployed Guy / বেকার / বেকাৰ / बेकार on My return from USA - she may not have scored very high marks in her school and college exams (as a matter of fact, she FAILED in her school final exam which she eventually passed after she cleared the failed subject / subjects a few months later in the complementary exam - supplementary exam?) BUT she - and her doting parents - had the sheer brilliance to feel - correctly - that I would become The Most Famous Guy Of All Time!

Although she speaks like a simple woman, she and her parents (now late) and her four brothers (of whom she is the boss, being their didi - eldest sister) claim they are of a zemindar family - which is true, I have confirmed, her deceased grandfather was indeed the village zemindar many years ago - therefore her father and brothers put "Choudhury" after the surname Sinha or Singha - while she and her mother put "Rajkumari" at the end of their names - but AFTER marriage My consort has never written "Rajkumari" but has always used Sinha as her surname - after all, My dad was Krishna and I am G in disguise! When I went to her dad's village - which is also My dad's village - a few years after our marriage, I saw that the house of her "zemindar" grandfather was in pathetic condition. Incidentally, My consort's poor English is due to her chauvinism. She has told Me bluntly and defiantly: "Let other people learn OUR mother tongue - Bishnupriya Manipuri - if they want! I can understand the sin of Eve and Satan BUT I JUST CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY Adam (who was called Jesus "Son of God" in one of his numerous subsequent reincarnations, I believe) is so glibly accused of "sin" by Christian preachers. (It is easy to guess that the Hindi word for humans - आदमी - comes from आदम / Adam; I may add - though unwillingly - that Bengali / Assamese / Hindi translations of God - ভগবান / ভগৱান / भगवान - are derived from ভগ / भग and therefore we conclude that just as ধনবান / ধনৱান / घनवान means a very rich guy - one who owns a lot of money - ভগবান / ভগৱান / भगवान means One who owns A LOT of vaginas because ভগ / भग means vagina - a rather shocking derivation of ভগবান which I learned from an interesting and scholarly book entitled "বিজ্ঞান ও দেবদেবী" - I have confirmed by looking up dictionaries that ভগ / भग indeed means vagina. I feel very embarrassed to write v. and f. in full but I have had the courage to write vagina here because I have noticed that devout spiritual-minded Indian FEMALES don't seem to feel any embarrassment at all when they talk loudly and excitedly IN PUBLIC about the oft-repeated ad infinitum "84 lakh vaginas" - perhaps wanting to make use of the opportunity to express their suppressed unethical feelings!)

Why are most speakers and writers so dull and boring? I have pondered this question for a long time. I have come to the conclusion that the chief reason for dull and boring speech and writing is that speakers and writers don't read books on how to speak and write well.
